Unique Perspectives: The Secrets of The Universe
By Kim Stevens

Universal laws of attraction work in fun and funky ways. But no matter what it is I want to attract, there’s only one way to do it: by raising my vibration.
Esther Hicks, in translating Abraham, talks about what we can manifest when we achieve that higher vibrational level. (Hint: It’s everything.) And I’ve experienced this in action many, many times. Maybe I want to create abundance. Have better relationships. Get a new Jeep Wrangler. Build a magical greenhouse in my new backyard. Whatever it is I’m looking to attract in my life, raising my vibration allows me to manifest it into being. Why? Because everything is energy and everything already exists in the vibrational world. So to get what I want, I must raise my vibration to match that thing I desire.
What does “raising my vibration” really mean? Now here’s where this gets incredibly cool … Raising my vibration is all about finding a way to feel better. HOWEVER, I don't actually have to feel better about my finances or my relationships or even my magical greenhouse in order to manifest those things. I just have to feel better ... about anything! I could be sitting in my recently renovated office, marveling at the beautiful canvases or photos or sling chairs, and THAT can help get me what I want.
Joseph Campbell says “follow your bliss.” Buddha reminds us, “happiness is the way.” Shawn Achor explains that happiness leads to success. I’ve been sharing these concepts for a few weeks now because they’re just that important to me. When we seek happiness, the rest falls magnificently into place.
Do you know what happens every time one of the agents at my brokerage goes on vacation? Their business goes CRAZY! And I mean every time. Without fail. The minute they step on that plane, close that car door for the long road trip ahead, they’re greeted with new clients, new listings, new offers … and why do you think that is? Because they’re happy! They’re in a blissful state of being as they depart for sun-drenched shores or a quiet country escape. Their raised vibration attracts newfound professional success, without them even opening their laptops.
Many traditional wisdoms share this secret with us. We’ve been so conditioned to believe that striving and struggling and suffering is how we get what we want. That certainly can be true. I have experienced many miracles through my suffering. But what I have learned and now practice is an easier, softer approach. I'm striving to be happy, to do good-feeling things. I am finding that this IS the way. And the best part of a happiness-driven approach? I get to feel really good on my way to getting what I want.
